Sweet Home Mine Rhodochrosite Display

The team from Hefferan Partnership travelled deep into the Sweet Home Mine located just below the Continental Divide in Colorado to experience the mine where this magnificent rhodochrosite sample was extracted for display in a realistic environmental setting at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. This site visit - and several mock-up sessions working with the specimens during the exhibit installation phase of the project - led to fiber optic lighting solutions meant to mimic the appearance of miner's headlamps. Three remote source projectors illuminate dozens of permanently focused fiber optic luminaires, keeping relamping to a minimum and preserving the opening day appearance for years to come.

Hefferan Partnership will travel to the ends of the earth to develop the appropriate luminous environment for a project.
